Painted Circuit

Questions

What drivers ask us

What is a Painted Circuit print?

A print of a circuit you know, every corner drawn to scale, with your own lap time on it if you like.

You choose the circuit, the piece, the style and the words, and add your own lap time if you like. We draw it, measure it and send it to a print lab near you, or as a Digital File.

Can I print my own lap time?

Yes, the one you type.

We set it as the timing screen writes it, minutes, seconds and thousandths, and work out the average speed from the measured length. We never print a time you didn't type.

My time is faster than the lap record. Will it print?

Yes, and the sheet says so plainly.

A track-day car on a shorter layout, or a time from a different class, can be faster than the figure the circuit publishes. We print it, and the sheet says the time beats the published record.

Why isn't my circuit in the gallery?

Either we haven't measured it yet, or its owner guards the outline.

The gallery is a set we measured by hand. A few circuit owners register their track's outline as a trademark, and we keep those off our gallery and our pages. You can still find any of them in the studio and order a print of your own lap.

Do the circuits endorse you?

No.

Painted Circuit is not affiliated with or endorsed by any circuit, series or team. We use a circuit's name to say which circuit the print shows, and we quote its published length as a source. We never draw a logo, a series mark or a livery.

Can I bring a lap file from my timing app?

Not yet.

Reading a GPX or CSV lap from a timing app, so your own line is drawn on the circuit, is the next thing we build. Until then, type your lap time and your sector splits.

Where do you ship?

To the countries the studio lists under Ship To.

Prints are made by Prodigi or Printful, whichever gets it to you for less, and the studio names which before you pay. Shipping and returns has the rest.
