These terms are the agreement between you and PaintedApp, LLC, which runs Painted Circuit. Buying from us, or using the site, means you accept them.

What you're buying

A circuit drawn from its OpenStreetMap survey, with its lap measured, printed or sent as a Digital File.

You choose the circuit, the piece, the style and the words; the drawing and the measurement are made by our code from the survey, not traced from photographs or a circuit's own map, and not made by an image generator.

Circuit names and marks

We name the circuit to say which it is. Nothing more.

No circuit, series or team has made or approved the print, and we never set a circuit's logo, a series mark or a team livery on it. A lap time, a car, an event or a name you add is your own words, and we don't check them. Don't type a mark you don't own.

Orders

Made for you, so check before you pay.

Every print is drawn and printed for one circuit and one set of choices. Nothing is held in stock, so please check the circuit, the words and the options before you pay. Your order goes to the print lab after payment, so it can't be cancelled once it's under way.

What you may do with it

Hang it, give it, photograph it.

Your purchase licenses the print for personal use. It doesn't transfer our copyright in the drawing or the software, and it doesn't license commercial use or resale. An organiser who wants prints for an event can write to us and ask.

The Digital File

A print-ready JPEG for your own use.

Sent as a download link on the page after you pay and by email. Print it as often as you like for yourself; reselling it isn't allowed.

Gift codes

One print, up to the code's amount.

The code is emailed to the person who bought it, to pass on. Anyone who has the code can use it, so keep it as you would a gift card. It works once, doesn't expire, and has no cash value. Shipping is paid separately.

The measurements

Our length is the surveyed centreline's.

Each length is measured along the lap OpenStreetMap holds, on the WGS84 ellipsoid. It is not the circuit's official figure and can differ from it, as the method page shows. A circuit changed since it was mapped prints as it was mapped.

The rest

Oregon law, and your statutory rights stand.

These terms are governed by the laws of Oregon, United States, without taking away any right the law where you live gives you. Write to support@painted.app about anything here.
